low lying placenta at 18weeks, does it resolve with time?

At my ultrasound today my dr told me my placenta is lying low, as if I wasn't worried enough already! I have to go back in 3weeks for another ultrasound to see if it moves upwards, please tell me that some of you ladies have had this problem & it resolved quick! I am so worried!

I had that with my second child diagnosed at my 20 wk scan. I had another u/s at 30 weeks and the placenta moved up! I'm sure you will be okay

@FirstTimeMommyToBe, did you have this problem? My dr said it's still kind of early but I don't remember ever having this problem before... agh I'm a nervous wreck!

enjoy your pregnancy! I even had the placenta partially covering my cervix too..more often than not it will move up.
