Normal? (Update)

I've been seeing a lot of white flashes for the past couple of hours. It's sort of calming down, but I still have a blind spot in my left peripheral line of sight. It's happened a couple of other times in the past month or so...should I be worried?

UPDATE: Called the doctor. She wants me to lay down and take some Tylenol for my head. If I don't get better then she wants me to come in. Fingers crossed I'm not going anywhere!

    You need to get that checked asap. I am a former ophthalmic tech and you are describing some pretty serious symptoms. Could be nothing but it is absolutely imperative you get checked and soon.

    @tryingforbabynumber2 Thanks! Is it something that can wait til the office opens on Monday or do I really need to call the doctor on call at the hospital? ^^;;;

    I just want to be absolutely sure before I start worrying and call the doctor on call. Depending on what nurses are working right now I would rather not deal with the b!%#$es unless necessary. >w<

    Id get it checked...your describing symptoms of a retinal detachment, but you'd have to get checked to be sure...def not something you want to risk tho...

    @carryingnumbertwo Thank you! I called the doctor that night and she suggested laying down and taking Tylenol for the headache. That nixed it so she saw no need to come in. :)
