plz help i need advise im so worried!

Has anyone had a breech baby n the doctor turned it? What do they do? Is it exermely painful? Is there enough time for an epidural?

  • It is extremely painful. They push and try turning from the outside. I wasn't given any pain meds so I don't know if its an option (this was 13 years ago). The dr was not successful, only able to turn her 1/4 or 1/2 but it was excruciating.
  • So its jus better to go wit the c section then?
  • They can give you an epidural if you request it hun. Look up ecv on you tube, most women on there say it doesn't hurt now. I've never had one but I was supposed to get one, she turned herself though. :) before you go, try chiropractic care! That's what worked for me. Or acupuncture.
  • My doc wants to do the internal way
  • It may be but your Dr could be more successful. Ask them if you'd be allowed any pain meds and their success rate.

  • I'm so scared cause I read on the net women say its extremely painful. But I don't want a c section
  • Internal way? Hun they can't do it that way unless they break your water before hand. Usually that way is to turn a transverse baby breech and then you deliver a breech baby. Here is a good site to explain that way, I would talk to your doctor and make sure that's the way s/he is wanting to do it, because its rare that doctors will even attempt to do it that way.
