My wife is having terrible back pain and its swollen and hurts to the touch. We are worried its a miscarriage, she's 14 weeks and had no probs so far. Can someone give us some advice? I-)
I am in her boat...I am 23 weeks with my second....I had the same with the first...IS she smaller to begin with?? I have really narrow hips and when your preggers your hips spread...my hips don't hurt where u would think they would more like where your talking about, kind of where my spine hits my tailbone and my hips in the back...I finally gave in and went to the docs and they said it was a result of my hips spreading and my ligaments being looser...I know it sucks but my pain didn't go away til I gave birth...they did give me stretching techniques that helped...might make it a little better....I'm sure it don't help u but just trying to let u know its normal lol my first was full term and super healthy and my pregnancy now is going great aside from the back pain...tell her avoid high heels of she has to dress up for work and buy her extra comfy tennis shoes...and if she doesn't have a body pillow for bed, that helped me A LOT lol ...it will help..goodluck hope all is good
