humane society

My neighbors have a husky puppy that jumped the fence yesterday and for the last two days they have had him locked up in a tiny kennel outside...he's got the be hot..its in the 80s and he's been crying for the last 6 hours with no food or water. I want to call the humane society but don't want to start a feud with my neighbors. So I called my friend and asked her to call them. now just waiting for them to show up. What pisses me off the most is that they have another dog that's been inside all day and they r just punishing him for jumping the fence. Poor baby :o(

    @karla_with_a_k Right! Aholes! She just told me that they rnt answering the phone so she just had to leave a message hopefully they get it soon and come and help this puppy.

    I was considering hopping the fence and letting him out to feed him and give him water but then neighbors would know I called

    It stays anonymous they wont tell them who called. That dog could die of dehydration! You need to do something or go talk to them and tell them that's abuse and you will call humane society if they don't take care of their dog. Or at least leave an anonymous note on their door saying that it is known they are breaking the law by abusing an animal. Maybe they will straighten up before the authorities get involved.

    You can call the non emergency number for the police and they will send an animal cruelty officer over. @redhead25

    She got a hold of the humane society over an hour ago and they never showed up. They're fucking worthless. I called them a couple years ago bc I saw a guy beating a puppy and they never did anything. Im so pissed off! Next time ill just call the cops.

    Yeah they do suck sadly! I called them once cuz of my ex bfs animals were being neglected, abused and living in an abandoned house with rats and feces on the floor. And they went out to the place and didn't do anything! I even went to the cops and the bitch told me to mind my own business :( im a huge animal advocate and it breaks my heart to see people mistreat these sweet innocent fur balls! Since the authorities wont do anything. Try the anonymous note.... chances are your neighbors don't know how much the system sucks and being threatened with having the authorities called on them might change their tune..... I know there's a tv show where these big biker guys just go in and take the animals that are being abused... I wish I could've gotten them to help me, but they are across the country from me...

    Yeah they got home a couple hours ago and still left him locked up for like 45 minutes but he's inside now. I'm just going to document everything and find a way to complain about the humane society so they make sure to check up on the whole thing
