went to the docs today babys breech :(

I went to the doc today and my doc said the baby is breech and she wants me to do some exercises to try to get her to flip on hedr own. I go back to the doctors Monday to see if she has flipped on her own if not the wensday she wants to flip the baby. If it don't work I have to have a c section! Has anyone had their baby flipped before by the doc? Does it hurt really ba

    My first was head down, but sideways when I went into labor & my CNM worked to try to get her to turn, but I still ended up in hours of miserable back labor & she dislocated my tailbone when I gave birth to her. It was pretty bad.
    I would assume it won't be pleasant, but I wish you the best of luck!

    I've heard a few things you can do to turn the baby. Play music down by your lower bikini area and place a bag of ice under your ribs. She will turn to get away from the ice and towards the music.. or so I have heard. Also acupuncture can help.

    When r u due? My first was breeches. Same story here. I came in the second time n the nurse laid me on my side n rubbed my side under my ribs to help stimulate the baby to move around. It was sorta long, or so it felt. Hurt like hell cuz I was sore already. Still, my Lil girl was stubborn. So, they told me if she didn't flip on her own we'd have to do a c section. Lay on ur side. Circulation is best on ur left side. Rub the baby from the outer side of ur side to the middle of ur tummy. U need a Lil pressure. I'll c how the nurse does it come time for ur appt. Keep trying every other night. My baby eventually turned on her own come dialing time. Its jus up to ur baby. Don't stress. I had her natural but this second one may b a c section. He's big. It'll be a small incision with anesthetics. Ull do whatever is necessary for ur baby come time. Trust me. Be strong mommy. Good luck.

    You know babies can be naturally born in the breech direction.

    My son was frank breech and turned on his own on a plane. Shes frank breech and im hopin she turns on her own

    @vette_devil I had 30 hours of horrible back labour/contractions because of how my lil man was laying. By the time I was dilated enough to go to the delivery suite I calmly asked for an Epidural which I never thought I'd do. Luckily, or not depending how you look at it, they didn't get it done in time n I gave birth drug free. I swear the back contractions were the worst bit of the whole thing. Could have cooed quite well with the front ones but they were just Hell.
