I have lots and lots of family in Joplin, MO and I just found out that tornados destroyed everything there a few hours ago! Please pray that my family is alive and okay! Im really freaked out now. I hope we get ahold of someone and find out soon!!!

    My mom got ahold of one of our aunts, but she doesnt know about everyone else.... Thank You all soo much.

    My mom got ahold of another aunt of ours, everyone in our family is accounted for! Thank God! But there are 2 girls from a shoe store missing and 2 workers from Pizza Hut that are trapped in the cooler...the cooler cant be found under the ruble...please pray for there safety! Thank You all so much!!

    I just talked to my cousin on facebook, he said its horrible down there. Our other cousin is an EMT and has already rought in 42 fatalities! I told him to stay strong and give comfort where its needed.

    I live in nwa 30 min away n my g-ma lives in joplin. My dad went to check up on her n she's ok but he said it looks like a war zone there. He said the hospital's top 3 floors were ripped off n ppl everywhere n rubble thrown all over

    My cousin said it was heart wrenching and hes 15. He said he feels so horrible.

    @kansasmomma were you all hit with this at all? may i ask how far away from McPherson or Little River you are? My bf lives there and i havent talked to him for 6 hours right before he layed down to nap....i hope hes still napping...

    This all breaks my heart over and over. I was just sitting here thinking about how tired i am from 2 weeks of cooking and wishing we were done but now i feel selfish for thinking that. I have some bama photos on our website. www.food4disasters.org

    We have slowly been hearing from everyone. There good, but shaken up. Im quite tired of tornados already this year! I hope and pray that no more are as bad as this! Again, Thank You all for the prayers! :)

    @mommyofangels I am not to far from mcpherson! Im not sure how far I am from there but I know its not to far. No we haven't been hit by anything big, thank god cause I have no basement. Im glad ur bf is still napping and ur family is ok. I hope the recovery and clean is easy and not devastating.

    I am from Ozark MO....we just barely missed out on the worst of the storms. The news coming out of Joplin is devestating. I know that one of our news channels here is trying to post pics of missing family members on their website...if you still can't find someone friend or family...you might check it out. www.kspr33.com Praying for everyone who went through it and also for everyones safety today and the next few days...we have the chance of super severe weather up until Thursday of this week. More chances for tornadoes.

    I had to turn the news off this morning b/c I was in tears...So horrible to see! Prayers for you & your family. So glad everyone is accounted for & ok. I can not imagine what those poor people are having to go through on this sad morning:( Breaks my heart!
