State Disability

Ugh! I'm afraid my doctor might put me on disability soon. Does anyone know how it works? How much do they pay?

    Nj pays 2/3 of your regular pay

    If you Google it you should find some info for your state. That's what I did, I'm in NY. Get the ball rolling soon, because it can take up to 6 weeks to get a check. Or so I've heard.

    Ok I also went throu my hr dept... my job actually pays me n then get repaid from the state

    I'm in Cali, get your papers off quick it takes some time. Good thing is they give you a debit card now. I do believe its 2/3 of your reg pay. I've been on Disability since April and I'm 4 months now.. good luck to you.
