Right now I'm formula feeding but my milk has came in & I want to try breastfeeding...is it ok to do both? I've heard of ppl doing both

    It is ok to do both although breastfeeding is healthier for the baby because you pass your antibodies to him. ;) r u still at the hospital or have u come home yet? The hospital should have a lactation consultant on call to help you get him latched on well.

    I know lots of people who do both. I don't see why not if your baby latched on and takes a liking to the breast milk.

    Hopefully he will latch on great! You may want to check out the La Leche League website for tips on good positioning for breast feeding. It is a different sucking motion but babies are born with a natural reflex to nurse at the breast.

    Ur baby should be fine doing both, I did it on both of mine you will love breast feeding just don't give up.
