Do u guys wait until the first trimester is over before telling people your pregnant? I have been told if u tell people your ttc it will jinks your chances of becoming. And if u tell people your pregnant that your putting the pregnancy at risk for MC.

I mean, come on... Really?? That's just stupid. I don't believe it.

i told people from the day i found out i was pregnant both times and i have a healthy son and am now 19weeks with a healthy girl... i had a mc in between but wasnt aware i was pregnant till i lost the baby

Or maybe you shouldn't tell until after the baby is born. I told people around 20 weeks and my baby ended up dying during labor. That's MY reality; once you get past the risk of MC, then you're at risk of stillbirth.

I'm not superstitious (sp?)... I don't think its bad luck I waited bcuz I wanted to see if I can hold the baby so I told associates around 4m or 5m but my immediate fam when I found out... I rather have a couple of people know if I have a mc rather than the whole world

I told our close family and my best friend at 5 weeks then everyone else after we had our 12 week scan but we bought stuff at like 8 weeks lol its hard to hide excitement!

I would wait just to make sure I dont have a miscarriage because I wouldnt want all that attention on me while Im trying t heal mentally and physically. But I wouldnt knock anyone for doing so because thats their preference to do so.

I never tell people when I'm TTC, because I think it just adds extra stress...not to mention all those extra times you get to be disappointed when each person asks if you are yet and you have to say no.

I usually tell "need to know" people like my mom and sister and his parents right away and then wait to tell everyone else until after the first 10 weeks or so.

Oh my gosh, we didn't tell anyone we were trying, but once we took that test and got a "pregnant" we told everyone!! We were just so excited. Looking back that was risky cause I was only 3 weeks along, but luckily everything was okay.

is it bad luck?
