Hubby driving me nuts!!!!

I love my hubby i'll start with that. Men get 6wks maternity leave at his job if there woman is preggo. He wants to stay home the whole 6wks after baby is born. I understand he wants to help but im breastfeeding so theres not much he can do. Plus my hormones go crazy after baby and I dont want to be mean cuz im sleep deprived. I dont want to hurt his feelings by telling him he will drive me nuts. I feel bad. Anyone else out there feel this way??

    I wish my hubby had 6 weeks off! We already have an 18 month old daughter though and I have to have a c-section so its going to be hard on me. But I think he just wants to be there to help out and you never know it might not be that bad! If he starts getting on your nerves send him grocery shopping or something! Good luck I hope it works out for the best!

    I wish mine had that long too, my hubby only gets 2 weeks. Maybe once you have the baby you will change your mind about how you feel. He can focus in doing house chores and getting you fed :)

    Believe me, you'll be grateful for the help. Maybe you can get some much needed rest when your not breastfeeding.

    We have 2 boys now 8 & 5yrs old. Maybe its just my hormones. Im hoping he can help most with them. I teaching him how to cook so hopefully he will remember in 3months what I taught him

    OMG I can't believe that! I would think he woud be so helpful!! Just because you're breastfeeding doesn't mean he can help in other ways so you can rest! He can cook and clean and help with your other kiddos! We planned for a winter baby so my hubby CAN stay home with me over the winter...and I can't wait to spend time with new baby as a new family! That is really amazing of his job...what kind of a place does he work for?

    He works for homeland security at the airport. The prob is lately he hasnt been helping much at all. We are really good bout not arguing and discussing things but his laziness now has me worried bout how much help he will be after baby arrives. We are going to have talk tonite bout it all, he just doesnt know it yet
