Bleeding and phasing blood clots

This is my first pregnancy, my husband and I have been trying for a long time to conceive. We found out 2 days ago and took 4 tests to be sure.According to my calculations we are 4weeks along. Yesterday I started what felt like my period. I had heavy bleeding and menstrual like cramps in my back. I went to the ER and they said it was a threatened abortion. But my cervix wax closed which was good. I go back un tomorrow but I can't stop stressing. I'm not bleeding so heavily I soak pads, it's actually just when I wipe. But now I am passing clots. Some small and some quarter sized. Please tell me if anyone has had this experience before.

    I'm going through that right now. This is my first pregnancy too. I'm 12 weeks and I started having Brown discharge a little over a week ago which then turned to blood. I went to the er on Friday and they told me threatened abortion. I need to make an appointment, so I probably won't find out till sometime this week what is going on. Good luck, I hope everything is ok.

    Sorry this is happening to you all. Went to my doctor appt I was having brownish pink discharge my doc say I was having a threatened misscarriage and to do no heavy lifting or sex so I did as I was told and the brownpink discharge stopped so I'm feeling confident that everythings ok. Prayers go out to you both.

    How long did your Brown/pink discharge last? I've had it for over a week and I feel like it will never go away.

    I had discharge every day with my last pregnancy, and she's two now. As long as your cervix stays closed, drink lots of water, rest if the discharge gets worse, and try not to worry.

    Hey ladies, im 21wks and i went thru the exact same thing yall r going thru whem i was 14wks. Dr has had me off work and in bedrest ever since!! Bleedn was only one day.... I feel good!! Dr said i can loose bby anytime if i dont stay off my feet.. I pray and talk to bby for her to hold on tight!! Best Wishes!!!

    I am 17 Same happen to me but mibe was pink/brown n only lasted 1n half days I went to the doctors today everything was ok now tomorrow I get ultrasounds done to make sure my baby is ok n im only 7weeks n 2 days

    I know exactly what your going through. I spotted for about 4 weeks, went to my doc he said as long as it didn't get worse I was alright. Then I got a heavy flow and went back. I had lost it at 10 weeks. Look after yourself and don't hesitate to go to the doc about anything. Gooduck.
