  • I bought Playtex bottles drop in system with liners.

  • I have a question about bottles too lol. What ones are best for pumping? when I am working I will be pumping and I saw some of the storage bags as well what would you ladies reccomend if you have used them... and can you use the bottles with the liners when you pump as well?
  • Playtex drop in bottles. Love them
  • This is exactly what I wanted. I told him I was using the drop in bottles and he threw a fit abt it and said he wanted me to use glass bottles. We aren't together so he argues everything that I do. I was going to buy the evenflo drop-in system pump as well.
  • I am super worried about glass bottles breaking. I think most plastic ones are bpa free now, so I wouldn't worry about it. I used playtex ventaire last time and will use something similiar this time.
  • Loved the dr browns my son gas stoped once I switched from avent to those
  • Hmmm...i wanna try glass...you can buy the rubber case so they don’t break..i want cus more sterile.
With my son I try many bottles and he like cheapy plastic 99¢ kind...im just gonna get a few and see how it goes from there..plus i wanna just stick to breast feeding and not both..
i dont like dr.browns..here's why if you dont clean right away or say it rolls under the couch it gets nasty!! Like old milk..slimy.
  • I love the breastflow brand. They are great for switching between breast and bottle.
  • I did both. I do put my pre made glass bottles in the fridge at night then just heat it up. They cracked of course.
  • I like avent and drop ins :)
  • Plastic is made safe now. Just do what you feel is best :-) Glass is not necessary.

  • I am doing born free plastic bottles.. I've read great reviews. I also loooove playtex drop ins but hubby doesn't wana be buying liners all the time so born free it is :)
  • Playtex drop ins are wonderful for gas
  • I'm definately using the drop ins. I've heard nothing but good abt them:) and you guys just reassured me. Thanks:)
  • Thinking of usibg born free and drop ins
  • I will be using Mam anti colic bottles, they are bpa free and amazing!
  • I registered for the playtex drop in bottles. But I'm gonna get natural latex and silicone nipples because Idk what she'll like. I probably won't bottle feed much, but when I go back to work my bf and mom will have to bottle feed her.
  • @black_butterfly what have you heard about born free?, are they like drop ins??
  • No they arent, but heard that their good from going breast to bottle helps prevent gas and BPA free and had great reviews on babiesrus website
  • I love the soothie brand.
  • For pumping I just used the medela bottles. Then to feed I gave him NUK and my son loved that bottle...he wouldn't take anyother kind. So I am stickinh with the medela an NUKs for this one. Your child though does ultimately decide because not all babies take any kind of bottles. They can be picky...which I think is fair enough I am picky on what I use to eat with as well lol.
  • Plus the Nuks later convert to sippy cups...so ut was a double bonus :)
  • I had a friend tell me with the drop ins, it melted in the bottle warmer...anyone else experience this?
  • @octmommy I'm gonna have to ask around abt that one or research it. I guess I'm gonna get a couple different bottles and figure out which one works best for him.
  • wow ... so many bottles to choose from there... we have a fairly small selection in Aust
  • I've used NUK with all 4 of my children and will again if I need to use a bottle for this baby. The nipple is orthodontic shape which great for oral development and also nipple is shaped like mothers nipple when baby is nursing so it gives that closeness while breastfeedomg and bottle feeding. Plus the pacifiers match the bottle nipple so no confusion. All my kids did great with them and this goes back 15 years who till present and I breastted and bottle fed them all.
