Pinching?

edited May 2011 in Pregnant
Everytime the baby moves I get a CRAZY pinching pain near my cervix? Especially worse when I contract. Any ideas? Due tomorrow.

  • Could be ur cervix preparing to dilate. Good Luck
  • I googled it a week ago b/c I have it too! So this is web medicine, not from my doctor... anyway, a lot of the sites said as the baby's head moves down it hits a nerve that can send a shot of pain through the cervix. Is yours like a really quick, stop-you-in-your-tracks, shooting pain? My boy's head is at a -1, so it sounds like it could be the answer to me. What do you think?
  • I have the pinching too but I'm 25w tho. It's like at my vagina.

  • This just started for me today too! I am almost 33 weeks.. I remember this happening with my 1st pregnancy but I thought it was later in my pregnancy. I would be curious to know what this is. Feels like a quick short stabbing pain through my cervix down my hole. OUCH!
  • Well, I guess we're all in the same va-jay-jay boat lol. I'm going to ask my doctor Wednesday. If you see your doc before then will you ask? I'm curious if it is a nerve or the cervix dialating. Or something completely different!

I see mine on Thursday ahh! Be sure up update perhaps? :-)
  • @BishopsMommy Good deal. Let's both ask and see what we come up with.
  • I have an appointment tomorrow morning.. I will also ask.
  • My twins weigh on my sciatic nerve which is in the pelvic area. It could be stretching or the baby weight coming down for delivery or it could be like my pain, just the baby resting on a nerve.
  • @BishopsMommy Arg. I hope you get to ask your doctor tomorrow. My appointment was cancelled bc they are remodeling the dr.'s office. Wtf? This was my last appointment before my induction on Tuesday. You'd think they would've let me know that the week prior. Buttholes...
