  • Money from the government to help pregnant mums, the health one (£190), obviously helps with food and things to keep us healthy, and the maternity grant is to help buy essentials for baby (£500).
  • The health one of 190 is no longer available. Although the 500 one is to parents on a low income. The health one only counts if your baby was to be born before january 2011. Hope this helps
  • oh thank you very much :) does help as i was going to ask her for a form lol saves me looking silly now ^^
  • No probs, my doctor looked silly giving me the form in feb, dont think he actually read it and had been handing it out to ever6 pregnant lady haha
  • ^^haha i bet he felt so silly!
  • I think we are only entitled to any help if we earn hardly anything or are on job seekers allowance or similar. They stopped them all earlier this year. Now you get nothing if you work which sucks alot!
