  • Thats a blessing mama I hope u heal well.
  • Get to feeling better mama! Glad hubby and baby will be able to stay w you.
  • Maym@ommy11 when did u find out about your galstones?
  • @mommyof3soon2b4 yes at first they told me they cant stay but u found a private room for us :)

@newmommy817 I found out on the 18th of may. 2 weeks ago. I had one attack during pregnancy and mistaked it for braxton hicks. And another after delivery.
  • Sorry to hear, gallstones are noooo fun. I had attacks for almost a year before one was bad enough I finally caved and went to the ER last year on mothers day. They admitted me and did surgery the next day and had to keep me one more night....no fun at all. On the plus side my fiance now and I were just starting to date back then and he is the one who took me and stayed with me the whole time...did not leave my side. And now we are having our first baby! :) Good luck and I hope you heal quickly! It helped me to sleep semi-sitting up for the first few days as trying to get up from laying down was very painful.
  • If don't mind me asking what did your attacks feel like? And where at were they?
I go on june 10 to have a ultrasound of my gallblatter to see if I have gallstones :(
    @maymommy11
  • @sunshine25 when did you start feeling better? And when did you start eating regular foods again? all ive eaten is beef broth, pudding, and applesauce.

@MaKaylyns_Mommy the pains I had were like sharp pains in my upper abdomen all across and it was so bad I would double over and cry. Do they think you have gallstones? Try to avoid the foods that give you.attacks if thats it.
  • @maymommy11 I'm on my way right not to get an US of my gallbladder because I've had what they think to be 4 attacks in the last 3 months. I'm only 29 weeks along in my pregnancy so I'm a bit un happy that I have to wait 11 more weeks.. here's to hopin for some sort of answer today durring the US.
@Makaylyns_Mommy the pain I had was wordless.. I thought I was going to die. My hubby had to carry me to the car and in to the hopsital. It hurt to breath it hurt to walk it hurt to do anything. I also puked many times -that hurt too. Lol - I had no idea it was gallstones until after I was In the hospital that last attack. I thought it may have been just pain from everything shifting.-ral bad pain-
  • I had my gallbladder taken out too with the same experience and symptoms. Now I have the scars on my stomach.but I feel so much better that I had the surgery.
  • @trina0222 how long did it take for the pain to go away?
  • I had mine out in 09 and when I was pregnant with my son in 07 I had terrible heartburn and hard tiem eating b/c of the pain I got. I never thought it was my gallbladder just thought it was the baby. I have 4 tiny scars, and this time around i am so happy its gone.
  • @maymommy11 they think I might have gallstones the pain I have is horrible it happens anytime of the day weather I've ate or not.. my pain is right under my breast bone inbetween my ribs and in my rib around to my back I have vomited but it eased the pain.

They told me when I got on the 10 of june and I have gallstones they will have to take the baby early and I would have to go have surgery after. I don't want this or the pain so all I can do is pray and hope!
    thank you!
  • @ready4gurl im glad you got it taken out :)

@MaKaylyns_Mommy omg :( they told me if I have a fever or if I vomit that I needed to go to the ER bc it means its inflammed.
    How far are you?
  • @maymommy11 it started to gradually get better within a few days but I was pretty sore for a couple of weeks and there was lingering soreness if I moved or especiaaly stretched wrong for a month or a little more. As far as food they told me that after I went number two I could eat pretty much whatever I wanted, but until then I had to eat soft foods like yougurt, pudding, mashed potatoes, that kinda stuff. I had the lapriscopic surgery tho where they make 4 smaller incisions rather than one big one. Hope ur feeling a bit better!
  • @sunshine25 I havent gone number two yet and the drs told me I had to eat solifs before I was dishcharged. And the percocet im on i need to take apple.juive or stool sofetner bc ir makes you constpated. Man this sucks. I just had a , section 4 weeks ago too.
  • @maymommy11 my attacks lasted about 20-30 mins. But after my surgery about 2 weeks because my stomach and abdomen was very sore. It took me awhile to stand up straight.
  • @trina0222 Ya I noticed at the grocery store that I couldnt stand up straight bc how sore I am. It hurts to stand up.
  • @maymommy11 I will be 32 weeks on friday! I was never told to go to the ER but. I can't say I want to either. I want to keep my baby girl in as long as she wants to stay :)
  • I got mine removed a month before I got pregnant due to attacks too and I ate whatver I wanted after with NO problems. The first day I ate some soup but the day after I had my bf bring me tacos :) It wasn't that painful, I was up and walking with no problem.
  • @MaKaylyns_Mommy okay just be carefuk my dr said its worse to take outwhen its inflammed.

@ExcitedForOctober lucky im in some pain. I can barely hold my son or get up out of a chair :(
  • @maymommy11 oh I hope it I don't have them at all how often did your attacks happen. The last what I think are attacks happenend on friday hoping its just a gastrointestinal due to me not having bowlmovements :(
  • @Makaylyns_Mommy for me it happened when I had fatty foods or cheese. How long does the pain last for?
  • @maymommy11 the pain last any where from 10 to 20 mins sometimes 5 mins sometime more. It don't matter what I eat and it can be b4 I eat after a meal just very random :(

My liver and pancreas were inflamed to so I had to stay in the hospital for four days to wait until they weren't inflamed anymore before they would do the surgery..... they said my gallbladder was so bad it was green....
