Crazy dog, not pregnacy related.

edited June 2011 in Just for Fun
So it's hot out and I filled our dogs water bowl with ice cubes to help keep him cool. He decided that he wants to save them for later by "burying" them around the house. The really funny part is that he doesn't cover them with anything he just acts like he is using his nose to move dirt on them. Seriously dog I know I haven't vacuumed yet this week but the floor isn't that dirty!!!

Oh well, atleast he is keeping my feet cool. :)

  • Bahaha that's too cute. Mine does that too. Shell take the cubes and put em on her dog bed to save for later. She also hides grapes and blueberries all over the house :)
  • LOL! I give my dog ice cubes and he likes to play soccer with them! so fun to watch! Your dog is really on mission though how cute!
  • Lol my pointer mix does that too when he's had his fair share. He's an odd one that's for sure
  • Aww doggies are so cute, just now you have wet floors in random spots.
  • Mine do that! They love their frosty pawz n swimming pool: 0)
  • @mandiixxmayhem - you shouldn't be giving your dog grapes it's poisonous to them like chocolate is. Grape will damage a dogs kidneys.

My dog also takes the ice cubes and puts him in his bed and then he will go looking for them later and get all upset because they aren't there (since they melted) so I have to give him another one lol
  • O yes grapes, macadamia nuts, onions all very harmful to dogs!

Whenever I open my freezer all 3 of my dogs run up and want ice cubes! They also love frozen peas!! I just pour some on the floor and they lick them up!!
  • He is a sweet doggie a little after I posted my original comment Lilium woke up from her nap and I was playing with her on the floor (one of the dry parts lol) and he put an ice cube right next to her. He was sharing and trying to cool off "his" baby.
  • Whew! @littlefae , I was going to tell her the same! Its not like a huge known thing, but its a very true one!

@LittleFae we know...she doesn't eat them!! She just plays with them!! Tosses them around. Hides em throughout the house. Then leaves em to become raisins. :) she does however try to get in the veggie drawer and run off with a cucumber or potato...weirdo
