i have had vision problems. it starts with i have no perpheral (sp?) vision at all. like tunnel vision. then the part i could see out of i see black spots therefore not letting me see at all. it comes and goes. it usually goes away within 15 minutes. and ihave been having really bad headaches (it literally feels like someone is stabbing me in the brain) they gave me fourcet (sp?) but of course my luck i cant find them. the dr checked my iron, my bp, my blood platlets, and my urine and all was fine... so. idk.

  • tHAT'S A SYMPTOM OF PRECLAMPSIA OTHER THAN THAT IDK
  • I would talk to doc. But it sounds to me what happens when BP changes suddenly. You should have someone check your BP while its happening. I would definitely call doc though, unless you already have. Scary! Something kind of like that happened to me everytime I stood up to quickly. Hope you figure it out. Also just thought maybe you need more water?? Just my thoughts. Hope it clears up soon though.
  • i figured it was my bp. because i had high bp with my son. and was told mroe than likely will happen with this pregnancy too. but of course when she checked it, it was ok.
  • I have dat TO been having dat fa a long time
  • Eye problems with pregnancy are very common, but there are signs of something serious I think it is called preclampsia or something like that. You should bring it up with your doctor because it is very serious.
  • I think another sign is high blood pressure, but I am not sure.
  • I would buy a bp cuff for home and check it at different times of the day and anytime that happens. they are easy to use and around 20 bucks. It might at least put your mind at ease. I would also mention it to your OB. Good luck!

@awhaley28540 I get gnarly migraines (since before I was pregnant) and that is exactly what happens before it hits. So it could be just that, migraines. But definitely keep your ob informed and keep an eye on it in case it is something different. I used to have to keep a log when it happened, how long each symptom lasted and all that before they said it was only migraines.
  • Ty ladies so much.
  • That's a sign of blood clot which pregnancy puts you at an increased risk. They thought i had a blood clot but thank god i didn't. I figured out my problem on my own. My blood sugar dropped.
