It took mine about a week after I was pumping for 6 weeks, wear a bra that is one size too small, cabbage leaves help, when you need to release a little milk, just to relieve pressure, but not a lot or it will keep coming in..I think A regular bra might be better than a sports bra because it is tighter and that's the goal
@jcmommy I didn't realize you could make your breasts not produce anything? :-/ Idk about the whole cabbage thing though haha. I don't even like to eat the stuff. :-P
I was told to avoid hot water on the tatas too something about the warm water causes more milk to come out which makes them take longer. Wish I could be more help.
@jcmommy how do you prevent it from coming in? I thought it always comes in just goes away.
@joaquins_mama cabbage works? Hmm that's kinda awesome.. do you know hpw it works?
Your welcome I know how you feel I had to wear them while pumping they were annoying. I hope you won't need them much longer!! I also forgot to mention if you use the cabbage leaves make sure they are really cold, it works better, also only release milk when really needed, because the more you do it, your body is getting signals to produce more milk. GOOD LUCK!
Yea. I put clothes on that were tight so it was like wrapping them I guess. I had my regular bra and two tight camis with the bra shelf in it and to try to not get hot water on your chest when showering. But try the cabbage, that's what my ob doctor told me that was most effective. Your house might stink for a little but don't have to worry about leaky boobies.
@KalikoJenie Thanks. I guess I should start turning the water to less hot when I shower then haha. But I hate taking cold showers, and hot to everyone else is just warm to me when it comes to showers. :-P
@kalikojenie I am not sure exactly how it works I wish I did though. I just know when you use it, it only takes up to a week to dry up! Just make sure you replace the leaves once they get warm or wilted and you will be milk free sooner than you thought!
