I'm 17.1 weeks and every time we have sex it kinda hurts and is uncomfortable. Whether its doggie style or missionary with me on bottom. Its feels like 1. his penis is poking out above my pelvic, or 2 its baby being pushed and poking out above my pelvic.

Its VERY distracting and not pleasing. Anyone else feel this? Like literally poking out! I can feel something being pushed on the outside w/ my hand and I made hubby feel it and he just laughed... I've been ignoring sex for 2-3 weeks but finally gave in yest hoping it wouldn't happen again.

Should I ask my doc or is that dumb? "no question is dumb".. ok ya but still..

    Early in pregnancy, I don't think that sex should be uncomfortable...maybe a little pressure is to be expected, but pain might be a different story. I would definitely talk to your doctor about what you're experiencing...some women are told to stop having sexual intercourse during their pregnancy due to possible issues/discomfort.
    ANY time that you are uncomfortable with something during your pregnancy, make sure to ask your doctor. It could be something simple, like discomfort do to an expanding uterus/stretching muscles...or it could be something else.
    Definitely bring it to your doctor's attention, the next time you go! Until then, I would avoid sexual intercourse, just to be on the safe side.

    I just went to the docs Thursday and forgot to ask :/ oops. I guess I can always call or go to the walk-in center @monkeysmommy2011 its just feels so weird and uncomfortable. I just had to turn him down. I think its ok if I'm on top but can't remember. Been a while since I was on top.

    Oh its fine. That happened to me too and I found it very uncomfortable. You can actually see it poking up through your pelvic. It felt like it was going up instead of in. But its fine. It got better for me. I don't really notcie it anymore. When it was happening I wouldn't just lay there and take it. I didn't want to be uncomfortable during sex! So I would try every position imaginable untill I felt comfortable. Lol its all about you now, so find a comfy position.

    @alih yes that's exactly it! Idk if its his penis or what. haha ok.. I told him how uncomfortable it was. For once I'm glad he doesn't last very long. I usually just turn him down. [-( I'm usually not in the mood and he nvr tries to make me in the mood. He just begs for it which is fricking annoying and just pisses me off.

    @jcmommy we've tried that position before but wasn't very pleasurable for us. Couldn't get much friction. I think next time I'll lay on my side and have him sit on his knees and come towards me. Idk hard to explain the position.

    We just had sex today.. after 2 wks I guess. It hurts every time. Like friction, but not dry.. and then my vag feels like it has balls hanging and swinging.. kinda like a heavy period makes you feel swollen. Blah.

    Omg my bf begs for it too instead of trying to make me want it, makes me want to kill him and it turns me off even more. Same thing used to happen to me though and honestly your doctor probably won't be much help..mine just told me that pregnancy makes things uncomfortable and to deal with it.

    I'm 21 weeks and i'm having pain too while having sex! My hubby and I dont have it very often because its to the point where I cry from the pain, it feels like my vagina starts closing when he enters and after wards it kinda feels its been rubbed raw :/

    @carolina8_p I kinda want to tell him my doc said I can't have sex. But I know I'll probably regret it since he deploys roughly 3 days after babies due date. I just wish he'd be sweet and understanding and leave my vaj alone. If I want sex I'll pursue it.

    @hiannaaa see last sentence above. Lol. Like dude. I'm not interested. And begging and pouty is NOT going to turn me on! I hear crying whiney pouty kids all day and when they go home I shouldn't have to hear anymore til I give birth! He pisses me the F off and he knows it.

    @kimberly4411 I'm to the point of wanting to cry too. And have afterwards secretly. We use lube and it still feels so rough. Aren't we so lucky being woman) :(

    @westnbaby does she know the guy or just seen him around? I think its good she's told you. So I wouldn't worry to much hun. I've had dreams of having sex with my husband. But its not rly him. Its a better version of him. Same looks just sweeter and stuff.

    @westnbaby id think of it as a celebrity crush. She doesn't know him. Just thinks he's cute. I'm sure you've have celebrity sex dreams. But maybe not. Idk. Why don't you two have sex? Does it hurt for her or is she just turned off? Sex can go two ways for us while pg. 1. Super freaking horny or 2. Just disgusted by the penis. Id rather not have sex. I'm so tired by night time and just want to sleep.

    @westnbaby it's very common for pregnant women to have sexual dreams about other men. It doesn't mean anything so try not to take it personally although I'm sure it's hard knowing that. I think it's awesome that she told you though, you must have a great relationship.

    @westnbaby I can understand it hurts. I didn't like it when my hubby watched porn. Lil dif since she can't control her dreams. Try to subsitute the time you used for sex for something sweet. :) I wish my hubby would. She felt safe telling you of her dreams, so I'm sure she has no intention of doing anything.

    @excitedforbaby in my baby book it says we become more sensitive down there. I wish we had a direct answer.

    @westnbaby oh wow strange. My husband touches me at sometimes when he's asleep. And the weirdest damn thing. I always wonder who or what he's dreaming about. He says he never remembers them.

    @excitedforbaby you thought his junk went limp during sex? I think I need to start doing kegals more often. I don't feel as tight as normal. Do woman get wider down there before baby comes?? Or is it just bin my mind?

    I have no desire to have sex and when we do have sex it hurts. Like 10 minutes after starting it gets all dry and is very painful. My fiance doesn't understand why I don't want to have sex and he doesn't try to turn me on. He just gets mad and makes me feel guilty for not doing it. Im so tired of feeling like I have to do it just to make him happy when it hurts me. Does it get better?
