VBAC's..... **Update**

Has anyone here had a successful vbac or is planning on trying one this time? I just switched drs at 32 weeks and I am discussing having a vbac with my new dr tomorrow. I am nervous seeing how up until a week ago I was going to have a planned c-section due to my previous dr. and hospital.
**I saw my new dr today. I really liked him and he took over a half hour to sit down and talk with me about everything in my pregnancy so far. He said I am a good canidate for a VBAC! He went over the risks/benefits and gave me a handout and consent form to go over with my husband and bring back in two weeks. My baby is breech so as long as he flips I am good to at least try! If he is still breech by July 4th, we will set-up a planned c-section in the event he does not flip.**

    Well I was told once a C always a C so I never considered it. I know it can b safer as well tho to have a repeat C

    I've read that article b4, the only way I would have one tho is if the same doc that cut me deliver my baby. But again @ my doc office they don't do em..... But I agree talk to ur doc n see what he says

    I had a successful vbac. My doc looked at my previous medical records from my c section to determine if I was a good candidate which I was. I'm not someone who is anti cs but the vbac really was so much better of an experience for me. I was in my feet by the time I was rolled into my recovery room And ready to take care of my baby. I didn't feel the same with my son.

    I'm so glad you asked this because I'm 36w3d and I'm doing a vbac... I'm nervous but excited so at 37 weeks I'm gonna try everything in the book to induce labor so I won't have to do a csection.. I'm already dialated so I hope this babygirl comes soon.

    I vbac'd #2 and hope to with #3... the 2 things they will look at are reason.... why you has c section.... medical? Not progressing? Stress? Etc. And length of time since a vbac. My nurse practisioner said 2+ years before pregnancy is what they recommended so the uterus is fully healed before stretching again. Also doctors are pro csection..
    NP And midwives will help u vbac. Some hospital don't allow it we had to go to one 45 minutes away. But so worth it! I got to hold my son 1st and go home after 24 HR. If ur interested fight for one!!!

    I discussed this with my Dr and he is giving me a shot! I'm so excited! He didn't seem to concerned. I had a c section with my first over 6 yrs ago. I really hope my vbac is successful. If not I least I got to try. Hope u get wat u want!
