  • Oh no! That would be scary! I'm sorry I can't help you but I hope someone can! If not, call your doctor tomorrow, or lactation nurse!
  • How old is your baby? I know with mine for like the first week or so I thought the same. Her doctor reassured me that when they are that little you'd be surprised how little their tummy is. All of a sudden one day I could tell I had more supply then normal.

You could always try some formula too and see if the baby is still hungry.
  • When I started with my daughter I said it wasnt enough but the nurse said she was fine..... I eventually stop cuz i felt she wasnt getting enough. U can always do both ( bottle n breast)
  • I breastfeed 3 out of 4 of my kids & I'm going to do this one too. I always thought the same thing & with my first I wasn't, I even dried up while I was feeding him. But with the other 2 I was always scared I wasn't producing enough but they was slowly gaining weight so the Dr said not to worry bout it. Like navybabyonway said you would be surprised how little their tummy is. Good luck I hope everything works out for you.
  • I pumped for 5 weeks while baby in nicu. The first couple weeks I didnt get much out. It slowly increased as the weeks went by. Now at 6 weeks I've got tons!!! More than my little preemie can nurse. I still have to pump sometimes to relieve the pressure. Don't give up!!! I hate to see people give up. You can do it. The first few weeks are the hardest.
  • As long as the baby is having enough wet diapers 8 to 12 and poopy 2 to 4 its getting enough. How old is your baby? When they go through growth spurts they can eat all the times
