Um... who the heck else makes baby shampoo?? I know burts Bee's but they are expensive.. Should this be a huuge worry or you think it will blow over and not be true?

@carrie oh yea I forgot about them. I tried googling baby shampoo and J&J was all that popped up!

@mybabe a friend just posted it on fb

I do see however its dated Thursday, 22 April 2010 Looking for updates now.. Maybe it did blow over.. but still scary if that ingredient is still used in it.

That's crazy... I guess I was out of the baby loop around that time because I never heard anything about it. I think ill stick with my Aveno though just in case

would not touch any soaps or shapoo to my baby, also causes excema waters fine by itself I do use aveeno moisturiser even though it is owned by johnsens but she was so dry ps. everuthing causes cancer

Everything now a days causes cancer! Im not the type to get worked up over these things, I mean if it was really that bad, the products wouldn't be on the shelfs...i take products containing lead very seriously though and I think its rediculous that so many toys (and other crap) containing lead get sold in the us, or any country for that matter! Thats scary

Anyways thanks for the info, but I have j&j for my new baby and dont plan on switching it based on an article a yr ago

Living life can lead to cancer...breathing in smog, walking in the sun, and so on...we live in such a fearful society these days...johnson and johnson has been a trusted brand for decades...we will probably find out it has another ingredient that prevents cancer next year...I'm sticking with j&j, too many frivolous law suits, esp large tort class actions that prey on people's fears...just my opinion though

The one about the childrens motrin was just resolved and it was from YEARS AGO! They just now took motrin off the shelves also childrens tylenol. I read the article and they just seem like a shady company to me, going out of their way for people not to find out about the baby shampoo buying it out 1 store at a time instead of doing an immediate recall of all the items in question. For that reason I will not use their products. Hubby agreed with me, well he was the one tht said no j&j bc of the way they handled things. Its true everything causes cancer lol.. but its their actions why I won't be using their products with my baby
