baby's ears
I keep thinking that I would like to pierce my almost four months' old ears. Her pediatricians does it so I know it will be safe, I have had piercings since I was 3 years old so I know they would be cleaned and taken care of. I asked her dad what he thought about it and he said it's up to me.
Really the only thing that is stopping me is what if when she is older she decides that she doesn't want pierced ears? For now I'm going to wait and leave it up to her, but what are your thoughts?

I was thinking about that as well, if she doesn't want them just take them out, but I was worried about a scar. But then I did reason that what little girl wouldn't want earrings at some point. All the girls I have met either have them or want them.
Thanks for the warning bke, hopefully we can all act like adults and agree to disagree. I have made up my mind about waiting but I still was interested in what others had to say.
I got my son's done last year, he was 6 almost 7 and wanted it done for 2 years. He wanted both but decided on just one after it was done, he has a zero tolerance for pain so I'm hopping that my daughter will be braver because one side on girls looks silly to me.
If I do change my mind and decide to get it done while she is a baby it will be done by her pediatrician.
My son has a zero pain tolerance. So that's why he only got one done. I knew going in that was how he was going to be.
@mommabee13 some pediatricians will do it now, or might recomened where to get it done.
