Why was your baby a premie? Did they tell you why? My daughter was born with maternal-fraternal transfusion, there are tons of words for it but, it is where the umbelical cord reversed because my placenta was so swollen an she was born severely anemic she was literally as white as a sheet, and rushed to St. Mary's which is am hour away, if I had waited a little longer, I would have lost her, and now I see a specialist to make sure that it doesn't happen again, so of it is a medical condition they told me that it is very possible that he will be born early, I would just talk to your Dr and tell him all your concerns. Hope this helps.
Thank you for posting back. They didnt tell me anything really I had a bleed at 34 weeks waters broke the week after then I had a dry birth in which she picked up an infection. My husband was 8 weeks prem so was wondering if that might be why. I also had 2 m/c last year so I thought I might not carry well. Just so many thoughts x x
I understand your concerns after my first one all I do is worry but that's not healthy for either of you, have you told your Dr everything? My Dr.'s are very strict I pretty much have an apt every week, measurement ultrasounds every 4 and in a few months doplar scans every week. I would just express your concerns each time you have one, that is why they are there to make you feel comfortable during the whole pregnancy. I hope the best for you!
