preterm labour :( maybe tmi

yesterday i didnt feel right, then i went toilet + my mucusy plug was there + crampin really started. hospital said its preterm labour + just rest. + hopefully it will stop, im only 18 weeks + already had a prem baby at 27 weeks :( any ideas on how to stop labour?? i really dont want to have this baby yet :(

    I think you should go in!! Because you have a history of preterm labor. Good luck hun.

    Wtf.. Am I reading this right? Your in preterm labor and the hospital didnt admit you or tell you to come in?

    they said i should stay in, or come back when the pain is worse, i didnt want to stay in because its my daughters birthday today ( the 27week baby) :) the pain hasnt got worse but still cramping every 20 mins

    @luvbump- i was thinking the same thing!!!!!!!!!

    @smileymummy-the only way to stop labor is a shot or pills, they should have told you to go in especially with a history of preterm!!!

    @baby2dec14yay i did go in but there werent bothered about me staying in. my cervix was still thick but starting to funnel, i think ill be back in today get a different doc + midwife

    ok so i came bk to hospital, + got a different doc. iv got iv fluids + lots of pain releif. iv had 2 shots every 15 mins to try stop labour got another to go yet. so far it seems to be working, although doc said even if it does stop the labour it can start up again at anyway time + next time they may not be able to stop it, iv been told to rest now but with 2 3year old thats very hard, with my bf workin from 6am till 7pm, anyway fingers crossed it stops all together

    @jtmoon98 whats one of them? they have spoke about putting a band on my cervix to keep it closed

    I am 20 weeks and got my stitch on sunday. I am on strict bedrest. Only can get up to pee or shower every other day.

    well iv been let out today, labour has stopped :) baby is doing good + i have my band fitted next week, my mum has took 3 weeks off work to help with the kids, :) thank u all for ur support everybody. when doc says go home i thought it was wrong but listened to the doctor, but u guys really helped :)

    i defo will do, :) shes brought me lots of books + dvds + is making my tea, like being back at home as a kid again lol
