My boyfriends family is Italian and he picked Jemma in the Italian girl list on a site. It's beautiful and means "precious gem" we are claiming the italian name but the Hebrew meaning "dove of peace" so in 50 days, we will have our little Jemma grace. :-D

@5lilangels it does sound nice together, but my in-laws give their dogs Italian names too and they just had one of their dogs die last week. Her name was Isabella

I couldn't use it for that reason. Other names they've used are Bruno, Dino, Luigi, Guiseppina (they call her Pina), Mimmo, and Massimo.
