it is recommended that you dont use a breast pump until the baby is 6 wks old. just saying. but if you plan on giving baby your milk thru a bottle full time, then maybe? i would call the ped to be and ask
My insurance and hospital told me to use the hospitals its covered as long as ur admitted plus they usually have the best. I'm going to take mine to my 37 AK design appointment to make sure it fits properly and that's it
Im bringing mine. I know a ppl that had to pump immediately after baby was born because they were either premies or would not latch on. I have the Avent double electric because it has cushion in the inside.
Im taking mine because last time my daughter wouldnt latch properly. They put in a request for a lactation consultant who didnt show up til 24 hours later with the pump. Meanwhile my daughter was getting formula instead of my colustrum. And it took that much longer for my milk to come in afterwards..
