  • How old is she??? I would say if its over 4-5 hrs wake her. During the day u can wake her every 3 hrs if u want but at night I would let her go for the 4-5 hours so u can get some rest.
  • No, I wouldn't, unless ur worried about a lack of weight gain or serious jaundice. She'll fall into her own pattern of eating & sleeping. As long as her poops n pees r regular, she's getting enough. I think the recommendation is 8-12 feedings per 24 hrs, not every 2-3 hrs like clockwork. If ur engorged and sore tho, u could try!
  • @jbandno3 she was just born Tuesday. @babyrosalee I'm having issues with engorgement on one breast but not the other
  • @a_wagner my daughter was just born tuesday too. and I have engorgement of one breast but not the other as well
  • @a_wagner & @Seifer12211 make sure u keep feeding evenly on both sides, your breasts will regulate the production based on how much milk ur taking out. Good luck!

  • When I had my son they told me to wake him up every 3 hours for sure! Ask her pediatrician =)
