  • Have u called ur doc?
  • I've heard a lot of people complain about that stabbing before going into labor. I would call your dr.
  • no cos i got midwife appointment on wednesday plus i was in hospital on the 10th till the 12th n they said that im having contractions but the baby could come in days or weeks but the stabbing pain has only been happning for like an hour, n my fiance said hes not taking me to the hospital again unless im on the floor screaming or my waters have broken (because iv been in hospital so many times in this pregnancy cos of problems) @Moroccanmexicanbaby
  • @laura536 god i hope its labour, im sooo bored of waiting lol.

  • Omg, girl i would call ur midwife and ask her for some pain killers! Something to help ease those sharp pains. I get those once in a while and get braxton hicks. But i would see what she advices you. Cuz i am pretty sure you want to yank baby out
  • Well if you don't call, keep a close eye on that backache, because it could be back labor. Good luck! Hopefully this is it for you!
  • i would except the useless woman always has her f*cking phone off, fat loada help she is! so i always end up calling the hospital for advice and they always tell me to go in! and i know wht yu mean the midwifes at my hosp see me way too often aswell were on a first name basis lol, yet there the ones who tell me to go in so i cant win really lol, @ashleyfew
  • @moroccanmexicanbaby i would ask for painkillers except i suffer from hypermobility syndrome and painkillers dont work on me cos my body processes it too fast, so theres no point lol.
@laura536 i have no idea wht back labour is, doesnt everyones back hurt in labour??? i think i might have to google that.lol.

  • I have had the exact same pains in my vag for about 2 weeks now... I'm currently 35 weeks my doctor said its just the cervix thinning out. The pain gets so terrible I can hardly stand or walk. I know how u feel! I hope it means labor soon!
  • Lol, yes, I would think everyone's back hurts at some point, but sometimes the baby is turned and all the labor pain is in your back instead of feeling like regular contractions. Definitely google it, I'm doing a horrible job explaining.
  • Mommy_2_b19 how far are u? If uve been in ptl then its likely the same issue I'm having....the baby has dropped and your feelining /him/her move down in the vag..or in this case the birth canal! It hurts very very bad but that is why the pain is itermitin (sp?) Not all the time! Try to lay down if poss and on 1 side or the other it will help the pain a little ...not much else u can do so sorry hope u feel better soon!
  • @ 2ndmiricaleontheway im 36weeks+3days i was onlyjust 35weeks when i went to hospital with the contractions and he is moved down already they told me at the hospital that his head was down and he was ''engaged'' already, anyideas on how to ease the pain without using painkillers? x
  • @mummy_2_be19 I am 32 wks and she has dropped as well they call it -3 station...so evrytime she turns her head I get that horrible pain! They told me sit in a warm (not hot) bath or try laying on ur side I personally have found "lifting" my belly or pushing up on the vag like ur pushing him back in (sry tmi) helps relieve SOME of the pressure...today nothing is helping...I am so sorry at least u are just about 36wks though that's great! I am happy for you but so sorry u hurt wish I had more they were nice but bassically told me I have no option...I need to "hang from my ancles for at least 2 more weeks" :-(
  • @2ndmiricaleontheway i feel so sorry for you being in pain and havein a while to go, thank you for your help. i think ill take a bath see if it helps. x
  • @mummy_2_b19 thx not your fault I hope it helps some...goodluck to u too!
