So when I had my c section I would roll out of bed...stay on your side and slowly put your legs out first.than prop your elbow up on the bed (like your gonna rest your head on it) and make a fist...with your other arm use it to push off your arm (if that makes any sence.) You dont really use.your stomach muscles when you do this. I also had an aerobic step that I put buy the bed so it wasnt such a big step down.....made it eaiser to get into be too. Good luck. I know it sucks for a while
I had to sleep on the couch. I could not do steps to get upstairs. When ai would get up I would roll to 'drop' onto my knees while holding a pillow or balled up blanket to my incision area. I would use my legs to stand up instead of stomach muscles.
