2 cm dilated and 50% thinned out and baby is insanely low...?

Although I KNOW I could be like this for a while, Im curious to know since the babys head is VERY low is this a good thing? Im 39 weeks and just need some positive reinforcement!

Im also going to be seducing my husband many times this week and using LOTS of primrose oil!!!!!!

My midwife did a cervix check and let me know she hadnt even had full fingers inside and could feel the babys head (sorry if tmi) so THAT is exactly why I have been feeling sharp pains and aching on EVERY part of my lower extremities! lol

    Wow that is good. I'm 38 weeks and I haven't dialated and my baby's head is still very high and this is baby #5 for me. Your baby is coming soon!

    that's promising! baby is low. dilating can go quickly...so thank goodness baby is in place :)

    I found out today 38 week 5d that I'm 2 cm dilated and babys head is low. My doc thinks she will be here before my due date and I also will be making my man a happy one for the next week haha

    I got the same report last week..i go tomorrow so I am hoping for more progress!

    I wish I knew when she was coming lol I go to bed hoping to wake up with hard contractions or a soaking bed haha just something!!!!
    But it surprised me when she said how low my babys head was! Im hoping its a good thing and she doesnt wanna just hang out down there for much longer!

    With my first, I was just like that. So much sex, so little time. I went into labor at 3cm. My last was a booger. 5cm, 85% effaced, head low...for almost two weeks. Then, after some castor oil and Orange Glo-ing my floors, he decided to show up at 37w5d.

    Haha my doctor told me almost the same thing last week at my routine checkup :) i was 36w2d. he said I was 2&1/2 cm dilated and 60% effaced and all I could say was...so is he coming soon?! Doctor said no way to know for sure :( but I have my fingers crossed that tons of sex and evening primrose oil will do the trick! Good luck to you :)

    @hayleegracesmommy4 I am about the same 3cm 50% and "soft" only I am 33wks sat..my doc dosent even want me to stand to take a shower or get a drink! Says it can make baby come...same thing w her head she is "right there" so I woul guess with a lil coaxing the epo and lots of sexy time lol maybe ad walking and yoga ball to ur adgenda. You will be holding ur baby soon! Goodluck ad lots a labor dust your way! ;-)
