When I was getting stretch marks through puberty the lotion didn't work but the butter did, but I didnt use tummy butter I used the cocoa butter, same brand. The tummy butter has vitamin e, collagen (or elastin I forget,) and lavender. Its thicker and stays on longer than the lotion, but its harder to spread so I had to use a lot more. But it smoothed out my existing stretch marks and when I used to dance it looked really nice in pictures
lotion or body butter can't prevent stretch marks. some people are just going to get them regardless but i used the palmers lotion after i had my son and it certainly helped reduce the redness and made them way less noticeable.
They also have the oil..I used both and wad very pleased with the product..I had some stretch marks before this pregnancy..but I have noticed that while using the palmers I didn't get any new marks.
@anadoll92 what kind of dancer were/are you? I was too and definitely want to return to it >_< I got bio-oil, palmers butter, vitamin e oil, and regular lotion. Lol.
Im a hip hop dancer, jazz, and sum lyrical if its not.boring lol. I have the vitamen e oil palmers tummy butter and vasaline with vitamen e and aloe. My friend said stretch marks run in.her family and that she swears by rhis vasaline she got none
Vasaline with vitamin e/aloe... the name brand stuff? I might do that too lol. I was gogo dancer and showing skin is a must so I want to get back my body as much as possible to get on stage again >_<
Oooh I wanna be a gogo dancer! Lol and yes she told me.ppl are so used to cocobutter that thats all they think about. The only.place she got stretch marks where her arms. She didnt put none on there.
