HR and baby's sex

edited February 2011 in Pregnant
There's a myth that if your baby's HR is less than 130 then It is more likely to be a boy, and anything above is more likely to be a girl...anyone who knows the sex of your baby please post what their heart rate was

  • Girl heartrate 150's. Don't think that's true my cousin had a boy n his heartrate was also in 150's
  • 145 it is a boy
  • my boys heart rate was 155 the whole pregnancy... i think their heart rate depends on their level of activity and size... at least thats what my dr said.
  • No truth to it...this is an old wives tale...think about It thus way if baby is sleeping hb will be slower...if baby is kicking and moving it will be faster.
