Gender Ultrasound tomorrow!!!

Yay I'm sooo happy nd excited but when I.called too make my appt how come they told me too drink.9ounces of water????have any of u ladies had tooo drink a lot of water before ultrasound. ..and than they told me imma be with the person in thee room alone For awhile soo no one can be in there mmm I thought that was weird but that's why I'm asking u ldies has this ever happened too u???pls inform.me.if sooo

    I know ur bladder suppose to be full to get a better picture but neva heard of being in there by yourself.

    Really yeahhh they told me only for a couple of min than my bd can go in there with mee. Its weird I know but yeahh we Will see tomorrkw ill tell u what happens ok thanks .@teemommie2

    I don't think you should be worried bit I've heard plenty of women on here that had to drink lots,but I never did.I actually never heard of that until its been said on here.

    They want you to drink tons of water and juice. Water because the more hydrayted you are the clearer the pictures will be and juice to make sure the baby is awake for you to see all of their parts. Worked at a 4d place while going through rn school.

    @katiep8610 soo how long does ultrasounds usually last?cause the lady told me I'm going to be inside alone first than sh said I. Can bring in bd why is that??? Do u know why they do that?

    My anatomy scan took about 35 minutes but it was really interesting. Enjoy!

    Yea about 30 minutes but it depends on how long you paid for. We had a 30 min and an hour one. They need to be able to focus on what they are doing and sometimes its hard with soo many people in the room. But as soon as she's looked around a bit he will come in.

    They made me drink a shit load of water lol. I couldn't pee at all til after the ultra sound. & Your baby daddy will be able to go in. They ask you to go alone first so they can take the ultra sound pictures and see gender. They won't tell you if it's a boy or girl until your baby daddy is inthere with you. Good luck tho :)
