Postpartum rash???? HELP!!!!!!

I have a horrible rash on my stomach, sides (love handle places), back, and thighs. It's getting worse, not better since I had a csection 6/14. my dr prescribed hydrocortizone cream while I was in hosp that dont work, benadryl and zyrtec ddidnt help either. I have an appt monday but I'm digging at my skin and need relief NOW! I'm even turning all hot water in shower to try to burn away the itching, then all cold to try to freeze it. Aloe vera didnt help either. Please any tips will be greatly appreciated. Oh btw I'm bf.

    Is this rash similar to pupps? I know they prescribe an oral steroid for that.

    I was told I had puppps the monday b4 I delivered, but the rash dont look like the images of puppps I've seen online and such. @jaime77

    Omg I had puppps rash and I scratched so much I bled. I went into the ER for it and then.found out I had preeclampsia NOTHING helped till I delivered but I read you can get it after delivery too. My sister is pregnant and has puppps now too and she takes dandelion pilld. She got.themfrom GNC and they helped her tons. Maybe ask your dr about it? Her rash went away too. I tried hydrocortizone cream, oatmeal baths, all types of lotions and nothing helped. Oh she also used grandpas pine tar soap.

    @lil_buggie_3 motrin that I stopped taking on sunday, and I havent taken a vicodin since Tuesday

    @maymommy11 I'm allergic to dandelions but will try to find pine soap thnx

    @gatorbob been on cream since june 15th and they used this blue stuff that took 3 days to wash off, and I dunno for sure bout pupps cuz I tried to tell the nurses and doctor and they blamed the binder and my spinal wearing off..:(

    I'm miserable :(

    I had the awful rash after I delivered my second. The only relief I had was when they started me on steroid cream. If you have insurance and want immediate relief I would go to urgent care or er.. I'm sorry you are going through this!! :( I know all too well how it is..
