I will be 38 wks Monday and have a 20 month old son. I tell him he has a sissy but I don't think he understands.

Who else has little ones close in age. How did they deal?

    They are all very close now that they are getting older. Theyre like bffs.

    Im 37wks.my son will be 3 in Sept. Im not sure he fully understands.throughout my pregnancy he has learned what a baby is,he knows theres baby sissy in my belly..and he knows what is hers in the house..as far as carseat,basinet,toys,ect..hes super excited but i dont think he understands whats to come.he is a Big mommas boy and me not being able to hold him could get really hard..so im waiting to see how this goes.i have tried my best to explain things and keep him as tuned into the baby thing as much as possible for his age.good luck to you!! Praying for no jelousy issues for either of us!!

    My two kids are 19 months apart. One girl and one boy. I don't think my daughter really understood until he got here but once he did she was soo happy n proud. Lol they are 6&7(soon to be 8) and they are so close but they fight alot too. I'm.preg again with baby #3 and bf wants us to try again when this baby is 1 so they can be close too

    My kids are 18 months apart. My daughter doesnt really get it. She just knows he's a baby. She tries to share her toys with him and give him his pacifier.

    My son is three. I've Tryed explaining to him he's gonna b a big brother but he don't get it. Mind u also he sees a specialist next month. They think mu son has a development disability. :O

    My sons 2 and a half and I don't think he gets it, he knows my scan photos are a picture of a baby and when you say is ther a baby in mammys tummy he says yes but I think he's just repeating what everyone else says. When you ask him if he wants a baby he says no me mammys baby hee hee
