its a boy but i have to stay in hosptial due to complications

Found out yesturday I am having boy. I'm naming him Conner Austin. I have to stay in the hospital because I have a short cervix and its open a bit and I'm only 22 weeks. Don't know how long I will be here. Please pray I don't have him to early and everything is ok

    praying for you.. when i was 22weeks i was in the ER off and on and they found out i have a low cervix and it was a lot thinner than it should be and ive been on bedrest ever since im now 27w3d .. i hope you and you lil one wll be just fine :)

    Thank you all. On Monday I have to go and get another ultrasound to see how my cervix is doing. I'm so nervous. But they keep checking me to see if I'm having contractions and I'm not so that's good

    I lost my son at 20 weeks 5 days and I was in the hospital for 2 days because of a incompetent cervix. My water broke before they even new that my cervix was short. I didn't have contractions or bleeding until 36 hrs. Later and he was born six hours after that. My perfect angel had nothing wrong but my body is what failed him. I'm ttc again and this time I'm switching dr. who are located in another city. Prayers go out to you that everything turns out ok.

    Well my regular ob sent me to a specialist in an other town 2 hours from where I live because I have high blood presure and when they did the ultrasound the baby was on top of my cervix and the Dr said that they check the cervix to see if its to short but they had to do it vaginly and thats how they found out. I'm supposed to go for an ultrasound this morning to see how my cervix is doing

    Stay in there Conner! Hope all is well today at the u/s appt. @TimeBandit so sorry to hear about your son. Stories like that are heartbreaking. Good luck conceiving! Remember to have fun while you do it. I would forget hat sometimes when we were ttc and it was like a job. Hope you make another perfect angel that stays snug till you're due!

    @thehumancrockpot they found out how long my cervix was in the ultrasound. when I had my 20w anatomy scan that was one of the first things they checked and took a picture of. they labeled it long. Lol. They had some high tech ultrasound machine (:
