I'm scared...dr. just called to let me no my test was possitive....was a total shock I'm very clean with myself only had 1 sexual partner....and never had no std's....I feel so gross.....
It's not an STD, it's just something that some pregnant women carry. I had it this last pregnancy. There is nothing to be ashamed of or grossed out by. I wanna say it may even be something everyone carries, it's just a matter of it being present during pregnancy.
Mommyy2Be...gbs is a test that's done around ur 35th to 37th week of pregnancy its a test that checks for bacteria in the vagina though not harmful to the mom it can be harmful to ur baby.....
I had it dont worry my dr told me a bacteria,alot of women produce. When I was in labor they put me on pennisilin. Your fine my drs didnt let me know I was positive till I was in labor..
Did anyone else laugh a little that it auto corrected her title to GPS? lol I was positive with my son, but I already knew what to expect. My doc was very informative and I thoroughly read What to Expect When You're Expecting.
