  • I'm wondering too?
  • I am lds not active I'm what u would call a jack mormon
  • It means Mormon or later day saints its a religion
  • it's a religion -The Church of Jesus Christ of Later Day Saints... (NOT POLYGAMISTS)
    @awhaley28540 @Mami_Of_2

sorry, nothing exciting! lol just a religion question!!!
    :-D
  • Oh... Ty so much for explaining :)
  • @oregonmama is he still in the church?
  • Why? Whats up?
  • All of my family are active I'm just not because hubby is budist I can't spell that sorry anyhow....
  • @momof22be just wanted to connect with some that believed or have. :) came home from a friends house where their son was getting a discussion. can i ask why you're not active and for how long?
  • ahhh u answered already. lol so do you believe, arent sure, or you've just stopped practicing bc your hubby? im guessing you were raised in the church?
  • Yea I was raised in the church it is because of my husband I just don't wanna fight about religion anymore I do however still get visiting teachers and go to the womens get togethers and such when I have time I do believe but also believe some of the budist religion too I do go with hubby to the temple and get blessings and such but I just don't know my dad is Muslim so I believe some of that too I mostly believe the lds religion though
  • I am. But inactive. Long story.

My husband was babtised sorry can't spell that either anyway he was told by a bishop that if he wanted to stay Mormon that he could not go to the budist temple anymore it was sad and untrue but he took it very hard and has let the church go from his life completley
  • @momof22be ahhh i understand! well my hubby was raised (but his fam was always somewhat inactive) and he wanted nothing to do with my joining. i did about a yr and a half ago, all on my own. but we're on and off active. tonight i reamed out some missionaries that were watching tv at our friends house... lol... but my husband was so proud. just thought it was offensive to be living the word and teaching, but then going back on what they've been teached. [-X i about lost it when one hesitated to shut it off... hahaha ahhh anyways. just wanted to see if there were others. we're SO not typical, i swear, i have endless tattoo's, i watch whatever and we've been known to party as well... although i just don't want to anymore. thought it would be nice to connect with others ;-)

@honeybunny inactive doesn't mean you stop believing. :) we go back and forth too!

  • @momof22be how sad. sometimes it takes just one bad person/comment/whatever to make people walk away. i understand it completely, but hate it. sometimes we have to keep in mind that each person is different and we can't hold the church accountable for everyone. there is good and bad everywhere!! %-( i hate ignorance. but, i'm glad that he's found something he believes in and relates too. ...maybe in time. i've had difficulties with my husband as far as the church goes too, ours is bc of hard times and he just doesn't understand why some people who are worse than us get blessed... while we've been through hell and back and were really trying to be such good people. ANYWAYS!!! i'm glad u answered this post. hopefully we can keep chatting... but for now, i'm off to bed. IT'S TIME TO BABY DANCE after a pos ovulation test last night! :-))
  • @mshahir =D> :-)) ahhh that is AWESOME!!!! love it. and it should... maybe it's a drug for some people!!! ;)

  • I am! ....but currently 'inactive' because of hubby's career... he works weird shifts and i was tired of doing it by myself and also peoples comments on me being a single mother and being pregnant... she didn't take the time to ask if i was married but offered the welfare info... she was in the relief presidency... made me mad!!.... LOL but anywho! Complete believer. :)
  • @oregonmama well that's fine!!! it's been tough for us too at times... nice to connect with you guys still. :) -i already like ya anyways!!! ;)

  • @ace_baber_3 >:D< nice to meet you!!! i fully understand, and know how that goes. recently i was put of my a relief society pres. after being a big part of the ward, and just moving out of it.... i got in touch (email) to ask for her help to reach out to my hometown after it was destroyed by the tornado on june 1st.... NOTHING! ugh!! some people! there's always gotta be frustrations though and people to go along with it, but tonight as i laid into a crappy missionary i had a good feeling and knew that i really did believe inside (lately it's been tough).
  • *inbox* sorry
  • I dunno about you, but Our ttc journey with our #2 was very trying on me and my beliefs... we tried for 18 months.... i pled and cried and there were so many hurtles! Me and hubbs decided to divorce.... a few days later i got my bfp and i was even madder!!!!...
  • But God is good and he has a plan :) gave me this blessing earlier than i ever expected!
