Rite now I'm sitn n court wit my bf I guess thyll b sentencing him today he's already been found guilty so hopefully thy dnt take him today...let's jus hope and pray he'll b able to b here for the birth of our son...ladies please pray n wish me luck..thanx

    Awww ill be going through that next week...hopefully my bf get house arrest..BC he has a good job working for the shipyard but dumb dumb got caught with a DUI...good luck x2 mamas..

    Thanx ladies but unfortunately he got sentenced to 11-23mnths followed by 5yrs probation...and he won't b able to b thr for the birth of r first born which is n 11days...I'm so hurt but I'm more mad at him for not doin wat he had to do...@new2_this good luck hopefully thy won't b to hard on him bcuz thy dogged my bf out

    @beauty0710 sorry about that happening try not to stress easier said then done...I know it..but one day at a time then this will be all behind him...he just needs to do the right thing on probation so he wont miss any more time with his baby...sorry I know u never kno what to expect wen u go to court..

    My boyfriend got sentenced to jail time when I was six months...but since he has a job he couldn't go serve his days in jail or he would lose his job, so we talked to his lawyer & they are letting him do it in the facility (halfway house) on work release, originally they wanted him to go at the beginning of May n I was not due until the end, if she would have came early he would have gone June 1st I had my daughter May 30th I was so afraid he was going to miss her birth but we talked to his po so he could hold off until after she was born..he went in on Monday..I'm so sorry he will miss your child's birth, I cried so much when I thought my bf would so I feel for you! Hang in there hun everything will be fine & he will be out before you know it!

    Oh and I tell myself to kind of help "once this is over we will be done with all of it & it won't be hanging over our heads anymore, one less thing to worry about, one less thing holding us back"

    @arand89, @new2_this I kno thank u its jus so hard I plan on goin bck to school ths semester and wrkn but I dnt feel comfortable leavn my baby for a long time...so its hard tht he's not here ths really has me n my emotional bag

    My sons dad was sentenced to 8 yrs! Be glad its only a little over a year. I've been raising and supporting my son all on my own for 3 years, he's 5 now and I remarried last year so I thank God I'm not alone and found a man who loves me and my son.it'll all work out, don't stress it'll fly by write all the time and send lots of pictures. My sons dad will *maybe* get out 2015 thats8 yrs but only if he behaves.

    well i guess it's better that he go now and not when baby is attached to him and is aware that he is gone or in jail. i know you want him for the birth, and that blows!!! but hopefully thisll pay off and baby will love him just as much when he is finally out >:D<

    @mama_kat yea sumtimes thy do like thy did tht wit my dad but not my bf thy were really doggin him out bad sayn he won't b a good dad bcuz he dnt hav a job n no skills all types of crazy stuff...smh

    @survivormommie3 I kno but I'm gona get a video camera n try to record everything sp evn tho he'll miss it he won't and as much as I dnt wnt to I'll take him to c his dad as soon as I can

    @Beauty0710 yea it blows :( I hated doing it on my own but you're right its not that he doesn't wanna be there, its the circumstances. Just hang in there and yessss visit as often as you can!

    its not too bad.. he won't remember it. I took my son.. he still goes now at 5yrs old with his grandma and he's gonna keep going til he gets out. I wish he didn't have to go but he wants to see him and I can't tell him no

    Did they take him today I'm confused? And sometimes you can get a special circumstances release where they will take him to the hospital when you give birth give him a hour with the baby after (unless the baby is terminally ill or in nicu ) then take him back to jail. Idk about prision. That's what my sisters boyfriend got to do and my step dad with my little sister.. I live in Cali..

    You talk to his lawyer yes. And I don't know about if the baby doesn't come on time. Maybe talk to your Dr first about a induction date if the baby doesn't that way you can talk to the lawyer as a set day? The two cases of my family they were both inductions

    They should. I don't know the laws there, but its not like he can stay very long so its not to much from his sentence
