With your first child how long was labor for yuh?

I've heard its pretty long with your first I'm not sure
&ndd way do CONTRACTIONS feel like? Honest opinion!

    I was in labor w my first for 17 hours and I pushed for 27 minutes. Contractions feel like (for me) someone is taking my insides and ringing them out like a wet towel. It's a pain like no other. But I'm a wus.

    Ok I'm not saying this to scare you and it was almost 13 years ago... but I was in labor for 36 hours before they did an emergeny c section. I can't remember what contractions felt like exactly anymore.... obviously I remember them hurting very badly but with my second son I had a planned cs so I don't want to give u false info. Good luck hun... how far along are u?

    4 1/2 hrs for my first
    2 hrs 15min for my second
    Just over an hr this time

    They feel like bad cramps.

    Ok so I was started I should have waited but didn't anyway the petocin failed and so my water was broken @ 9 am and I was in labor from about 9-5:40 and ended in a c Sec because I was at a 3 for about 5 hours and contractions feel like a major tightining feeling that made me feel like I could not breathe but it wasn't that bad just try and not get started unless its medicly needed

    i was in active labor for a week 10 hours and pushed for an hour :( lol contractions to me didnt hurt that bad they were bearable, if you learn to breathe thru your contractions the right way than it is a lot easier!!!

    first labor was 7 hours for me... pushed for less then 20 minutes (i was tiny and 16 years old!) second labor was 3 hours and he came out on my 2-3rd push lol. i'm such a pussy as soon as i get to the hospital i ask for an epidural because i can't take the pain. it feels like menstrual cramps x 100. my first contractions feels like i have to go #2 then they just get worse.

    My first lasted around 60 hours? I went in a for my 41 week check up on a Friday and the doctor stretched my cervix to see if he "could get things started", and I started contracting that night. The contractions stayed 10-15 minutes apart until Sunday night around 8pm they were finally around 5-8 minutes apart. I didn't have my baby until around 10am on Monday morning.

    It's helped me to be more patient in my subsequent pregnancies! lol

    6 1/2 hrs and contractions feel like your whole body is being ripped apart or squeezed. It hurts like hell and I didn't care if I died but I was induced both times and I have a rare problem. My body rejects drugs

    If you can relax yourself in pain it helps a lot. The contractions aren't that bad. I also have wide hips. It's a curse and a gift. lol I hope your's is easy too! I pray too. My whole pregnancy and during labor. Gods been good to me w my pregnancies and def in labor.

    16 hours from water breaking til emergency c. I pushed for maybe a 1/2 hour before the c section. Contractions for me were pain I could not have previously imagined. However it goes, it's worth it! :)

    I was contracting every 5 mns for 5 days (not strong enough to dilate me tho) had to be induced, and from water breaking to her arrival was 17.5 hours, 2.5 of that being pushing.

    I was in. labor for 13hrs contractions felt like a knife going in me I really tried to jump off the bed unfortunately the hospital I went to were christian hospital they strongly believed that medicine was for emergency reasons only I was miserable people told me that I could have sue the reason they did it cuz I was 15

    Lord, help me!... I was in labor for 20 long freakin hours, all natural!! One of my waters broke at 10p, and i was leaking like crazy, so at 9a the next morning my doc found out there was a hole in the other water so she had to break that one all the way. my contractions were irregular the entire labor, including time to push, and i was on pitocin from the 2nd hour at the hospital (about midnight). finally around 4p the next day I was exhausted and asked for an epi, 3 times it didnt take!! AHH! well, I puked my little girl out at 647pm! The contractions were the worst about one hour before i started pushing.

    with my second.... i was in labor 9 hrs. my waters broke all the way at 10p, by 2a i got an epidural and slept until the nurse checked me and i was crowning!! 3 pushes and out he came!

    24 hours in hospital finally had to have emergency c cection heart beat dropped n blood presure went up

    My first was born 3 hrs after my water broke. My second was a c-section because he was breech.
