  • Honey just try and be strong. I have no idea what you are going through but I pray what the doctors tell you next week will put u at ease. I'll be praying for you!
  • Really dont freak out I have a almost 9 year old with it......And if it is so you will still love your child no matter what......Autism is a very stressfulthing to deal with as they get older it seems to get harder but if you have dealt with it this long then you can do it longer.....Please dont let the schools tell you that he needs to go to a special school...Because it isnt necessary.....My Son has a hard time at school and he has an aid but I know he is learning more at the normal school then he would at a special school. The thing with Autism is there is such a wide range on who is considered Autistic....did you know that some of the worlds most famous inventers were Autistic.....the autistic child picks one area they really enjoy learning and doing and they can master it better then many.....and while some people think they are stupid they are totally wrong.....my son is so advanced in areas that they cant even get a real Iq on him.....he is smarter then 95% of the children his age......Please dont worry about this.....you can and will get through this.......head up and stay strong and remember no body knows your child like you do.......:)
  • @tammy1979. I went to +1 u but its so tiny I think I hit -1. Sorry if I did. I loved all u said
  • If your little one has autism you will be fine us mums are strong and your child can still have the same opportunitys that any person has don't get upset hunny get informed there is tons of support and info out there so you can do what's best. It may be scary but just remember your child is just a bit different and there is nothing wrong with that we are all different I'm our own ways that's what makes us who we are. Hugs to you x
  • Thank you very much ladies you all are very kind and very sweet.
  • I have two autistic brothers and work with adults with learning disabilities and they are all amazing, its not like it use to be at all there's so much help and support out there, i worked with autistic teens in college we did a show with them and they learnt lines wayyy before we did!! and they taught me sign language they are all so talented, my older brother can't read or write very well but ask him to draw you or build a wall and he's brilliant x
