waiting for dec.

edited June 2011 in Pregnant
I'm not due til dec and I'm seeing all these wonderful women having their babies. I'm getting a little jelous (sp). I know they all had their time waiting til their time was up. I am just feeling "left" out. Lol. I am so used to have spring/summer babies. This is my first for the winter. Maybe time would go faster if I felt better and had less pain. How are you winter pregglies passing time? And do any of you feel this way?

  • Lol I am Lil jealous too whenever a mom labors before me when they were due weeks after. I have yet to lose my plug. Going on 40+5 now ;) stay busy till December.
  • Me too, I'm due at the end of december...december 25th. When are u due? I feel like I have a loooong way to go.. I'm jealous of all these other girls far along lol
  • @angel26 I am the exact opposite! This is my 1st pregnancy to progress so well and I want baby to stay put long as possible. :) I can't wait to see him/her and love all on my baby but I just want to cherish every moment of being pregnant. Never thought I'd get this far, we even find out the sex on Friday. I am counting the seconds! lol

    When are you due?
  • @waiting4numerouno I'm finding out the sex on Friday too!!! I'm due dec 2. I'm high risk so I agree with you...I want this baby to stay put for as long as possible!
  • @cocoamaya oh yaay! well I am due Dec. 15 my Dr. isn't doing the gender and anatomy scan and gender reveal until 20 wks in August! I just can't wait that long. We are going to a 3D place Friday morning! Plus I have family coming into town for the fourth so I want to surprise them w/ the sex. lol
  • @cee808 I'm due a week after you on the 31. It seems so far away.
@waiting4numerouno I understand that one. I have 2 boys and I loved the whole pregnancy for both and I felt great for majority of the 9 months. But this one has me so very tired and I've had a quite a bit of pain (ligiment & cramping) so I have been kinda misserable.
@cocoamaya I'm sorry that your high risk. I'm sure that is difficult. I understand that every moment is a great thing.
I'm not trying to sound ungreatful for being pregnant. I am greatful. I'm just having a hard time seeing everyone having their bundles cuz I have felt like this is taking so long. I'm sure once ii can feel baby move and see it growing I will get over it.
  • @angel26 I understood what you meant girl, you didn't sound ungrateful at all. ;-) To me it just feels like it's going by so fast...maybe cause I have never made it this far and remaining positive has been good for us thus far. I am anxious to meet my little bundle and have him/her home but I bet as soon as I deliver I am probably going to miss being pregnant, having him/her all to myself safe and warm kicking away in there. lol

I am sorry you have been so miserable this time around. :-( Hope it gets better sooner rather than later. :-)
  • @angel26 I absolutely feel you. Both my daughters arrived in July. Now I'm due in Dec and I'm not sure what to do. It feels like forever away.
  • @waiting4numerouno thank you for understanding. I just hope that this is my girl with it being so different. Lol. And yes that has happened to me both times. As soon as their out I miss it so much. That is why they are all 2 yrs apart. Lol. I also hope I feel better soon. I just want more energy and to be able to do things with my boys to pass the time.
@kaylathering yes. I have a boy in may and another boy in july. I just feel weird having a winter due date.
  • @angel26 lol. well after this one escapes we aren't hoping for #2 until like 4 years down the road. haha. you're welcome. you should regain energy pretty soon, I know I get pretty tired sometimes myself. I just try to drink plenty of water to stay hydrated and take frequent naps.
  • I drink the water. But don get frequent naps. Lol. I try to take one nap though when my boys take theirs but sometimes I can't sleep.
  • I agree, dec can't get here fast enough! Lol. Its been 7 years since I've held and loved on my baby... Well since she was an infant lol. Now I'm lucky to get a hug here and there. I just can't wait :)

  • @2ndbutfirst I agree I don't know if I could handle that one lol. Or az. My in laws are in az and I couldn't handle living there either.
Thank you ladies for commenting. Now I don't feel like the only one. I'm happy to be expecting but I just can't wait to at least feel baby move and to find out what I'm having.
