I feel the same way! My appt is Friday. I was thinking of the iud that doesn't have hormones - don't know the name but mirena has hormones - or finding info on the implant in ur arm.
Wish someone could give us some insight. I really rather not go back on the pill.
  • Y dont u want to go back on pill?
  • I never liked it. Last one I was on was ortho tri cyclen lo.. but I rather try something else. I don't want to forget or have any issues.
  • Implanon! That's what I want. You can take it while nursing. But my doc doesn't do it, so I gotta find a place that does!
  • BE CAREFUL WITH IMPLANON MY FRIENDS WAS PUT IN WRONG AND CAME OUT AND HAD HER ARM LOOKING SIMPLY GROSS

I AM NOT GETTING ON ANY IF GOD WANTS ME TO HAVE ANOTHER THEN I'M 4 IT BUT I DON'T PLAN ON HAVING SEX UNPROTECTED UNLESS IT'S WITH MY FUTURE HUSBAND THIS TIME
  • Ima talk to my doc and have her explainn every type to me lol
  • The user and all related content has been deleted.
  • I think im leanin more towards jus takin the pill bt nt so sure :/
Im nt good at remembering to take pills...i prolly took my prenatels like once a week lol
  • Im doing the pill and putting a timer on my phone when to take it every day. The mirena was my first choice until I read the side effects and what it does, id rather take the pill :)
  • I also used ortho tri cyclen lo and i ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT! i had been on it since i was 16 years old and i Will be 21 in a few weeks (July 31st). So within the 4 years before i conceived, i haven't had any bad experiences with it. For those that are afraid of forgetting to take it, try putting it in the restroom next to your toothbrush (hopefully you won't forget that) lol ;) that's what i did and it worked! Yes i am pregnant (7 1/2 months) but that is only because i CHOSE TO BE. i SUPPOSEDLY STOPPED TAKING THE PILL, and within that month i conceived! Good luck ladies!
  • does the pill have,to b taken everyday at the same time? And how long do,you have to,take it for it to work I,guess..cuz im sure the 2nd day taking,it and ur bf cums inside u u prolly will end up prego again
  • I take the pill anf I dont forget because I set an alarm clock on my phone for 6:00 pm to take it, and just hope I have it with me lol.
  • I had the nuvaring for 6 months and loved it until it started giving me a always sexed smell. Thought it was an infection but nope my body just wasn't feeling it anymore. I took it out and had a Dr appt for 2 weeks after. Never made it to that appt and plan b got me at plan c right now. Going back to the patch once my Dr gives me a go. Was on it all thru college and beyond with no problems. Good luck on finding your match, only thing I would advise against is the shot. My family has 3 Dr's and 3 nurses and all them said "mmmmmmmm Mmmmmmmm, no."
  • I had the patch and it was awesome!
  • @mamidani it is recommended that you take it by the same time everyday, but i personally did not. I took it everyday but at different time intervals. There was plenty of times my bf came in me, i think as long as you take it that day the next and everyday after that you won't get preggo.the pill prevented it for me. Everyone is different but based on my personal experience it prevented it in those situations.
  • I have a feeling im going to b at the doctor office a long timee lol with all my questions
  • Wow, I had forgotten about the patch! I was on Ortho Evra in college and loved it! Never had a problem. But once I got off, I started seeing legal commercials about it causing blood clots and other scary stuff. Is there another/better patch out there?
