Thyme tea induction

I'm 39 weeks and baby is over 8lbs and ready but my midwife won't induce me so I tried thyme tea after hearing about it from a friend. I took the first cup at around 730 and at around 9pm I went to the bathroom and it looked like I lost my plug. Just drank another cup. I really hope this works cause it taste disgusting. Has anybody else tried thyme tea before?

    I hope it works I refuse to go to another appointment with my midwife after today. She sees I'm in pain swollen and everything that's going on and had the nerves to ask if I ever smile.
