leg and feet cramps

Anyone else getting severe cramps in the night!? I was screaming the house down at 5am with agonising cramps.

  • omg i know how you feel. i get leg cramps sometimes .. it helps to sit down and put my legs up
  • Stretch legs before bed and point toes towards you about 5x before bed also if it happens stretch legs and point toe's towards you again, try walking around also, have a banana before bed or try wearing travel socks :) hope this helps

  • Always point your toes toward you!! Not away or that will cause leg cramps. Lots of water, potassium, and stretching helps
  • I had a Charlie horse in my calf early this morning.it hurt soooooo much!
  • yes the other night i woke up from a sound sleep felt like my leg was going to explode! thank god for heating pads lol it tooks 30 mins to go away!

  • I guess I can count myself lucky so far. I'm over 26 weeks and haven't had leg cramps, swelling, aches and pains, etc. The worst I've had is right rib pain. I feel for you ladies that are having it rough!
  • Ugh!!! They are horrible!!! I had a real bad cramp last week that wouldnt go away, it made me sit straight up out of a dead sleep and wouldn't go away for a good 20 minutes... needless to say I didn't get much sleep :( drink tons of water and I notice light stretching does help, when I get a bad cramp my husband will warm up a blanket or towel for me in the dryer to cover my legs, and it does help my muscles relax :)

  • I've heard that eating mustard helps and also massaging your leg with a spoon. A lady I know swears by these.
  • Water and pickle juice is what i wash told and mustarsd for heartburn. Always to chicken to try that one
  • Heartburns my other problem but couldn't imagine eating mustard lol. Hate the stuff. My partner stretches my leg like footballers do and it seems to help. Lol. We look like a right pair early hours of the morn stretching lol.
