Hot water bottle behind your back or a nice hot bath and two paracetamol! Does wonders! Some spas offer special pregnancy massages if you're really in severe pain:)
i had the same problem and the only thing that helped me was resting for a day or 2,doing as little as possible and staying in the most comfortable position (which for me was in the recliner,i even had to sleep there). but it finally eased off. good luck
@preggointx you just tell you doctor for a referral? Or did you tell him your back was hurting and he referred you? Sorry, I'm not very forward, and as a result I never get the outcome I want, but my lower back has been hurting the past week and a pregnancy massage did not help. @ashleydplash89 did you get it to go away?
I told him my back was killing me and it hurt to sit and stand can he please give me a referral and he said yes just find one that takes my type of medicaid I did so and made an appointment the chiropractor felt joints rubbing together and put me on the bench lowering the stomach section so my big ole stomach would fit and then sent the recommendation to medicaid which they approved and now I can go every week till delivery...I told him I get prenatal massages and he said they feel good but don't resolve the problem...just ask ur doctor girl so u can feel better
Thanks @preggointx Just back from doc now, she didnt say much just that she cant prescribe me anyting! Just take paracetamol if bad, light excercise and walks, pillows for support And belly bands that support your bump. Hope something works!!
