Yeah! Officially being Induced Thursday! UPDATE!

Sitting here in the exam appt to be checked HOPEFULLY for the last time. Dr PROMISED me an induction date today for this week.

Please pray for me that he doesn't come in here telling me I have to wait ANOTHER week. Id probably go postal!

I don't even want him to strip or sweep me... To try and put me in labor right now...

Just schedule me this week already!

    Ok... ALMOST had to get ignorant all up in the Dr's office. (which isn't hard for a 9 month pregnant women to do)

    So my Dr's all dragging his ass and talking slow telling me he'll try and get me in Fri ... Oooh but it might be Monday....

    I was like WHAT? he then said yeah I'll call later to book you but they could be filled.

    Ok..... stop, duck and roll....

    I was like... WTH! Dr Streeter, I'm here right now, your here, you only have one other patient... Can you PLEASE go call now and see what you can do?

    So he shuffled out like a little boy just chestized by his mom, but at this point I can careless.. I'm trying to fight for this induction.

    So the nurse comes in 3 mins later and tells me I need to go into the hospital tomorrow for my ultrasound, stress test and blood work up.. so I'm like... So he got it scheduled for Friday? She says.. not yet.

    Then mins later her comes my freakn doctor. Shuffling in slow, and not looking on top of his game today..

    Ummmm so I called down to the hospital and theyre trying to make some changes and bump someone. Theyre full but since you have medical reasons they're trying to work you in. (here goes my eye rolling)

    So I ask the nurse to come into the room too... (Time for a Team Meeting)

    I expressed to her that she needed to stay on Dr Streeter and the hospital and I "NEED" my appt Friday.

    So if it all goes well... Theyll admit me Thursday night at 7pm to start cervix ripening, tests, and pre-preps ... Then Friday morning the pitocin drips will be introduced via IV.

    Please believe I will be calling my Drs office every hour on the hour until I hear something.

    decided to take matters into my own hands... Called the hospital myself to check on status... And finagled my way into my appt. Yeaah baby will be here by Friday. I get admitted Thursday night.

    how far along are you? mine wont induce untill your at least a week late.. and usually will push it to ten days.. they believe more in going natural but both my boys werent having it.. when you go over you have to go to the hospital like every other day.. for monitering and on top of that your ob apt.. its so dam annoying.. ugh.. i just pray this one goes faster.. and doesnt need induction.. good luck with yours though

    I'm 39 weeks... Not quite over due but feeling it. They agreed to induce because of my blood pressure being border line all the time, I see a chiroprator 3 times a week now for prenatal back issues, I'm constantly losing weight, and mostly I've just turned into a patient from hell today. LOL

    Just wait until I get admitted. I refuse to be stuck with a crappy nurse so I'll be speaking up on that as soon as I get there if I get one.
