need advice, please help!!

edited July 2011 in Pregnant
seens as all medical staff are been completely useless I'm in need of advice, for 2 days now I've been getting period type cramping either on and off or constant, I've had lower back aches and stabbing pains in my vaj jay jay, its sometimes unbearable and sometimes bearable. I tryed to. get an appointment with my midwife but she's too busy, and the hospital when I phoned told. me to take parracetamol which haven't taken any pain away since I was 12 years old so I've always had strong pain killers, my mum thinks I may be in the early stages of labour, has anyone had this? I'm 38 weeks + 3

  • You do get all kinds of aches and pains near the end of pregnancy but if your having pressure that bad you should go to the hospital, did you tell anyone that part when you called?
  • no, they told me nothing, they shrugged me off as usual, if there bust they tell you to have a bath and take painkillers :/ I don't know what to do. I've never had anything like this before
  • Pelvic pressure near the end of pregnancy is common when your near your due date and your baby drops down, but if its unbearable it could by a sign of the early stages of labor and you should go to the hospital.
